Do you have a cough bowl?

Last month we had a few days that almost all of us were sick with a couple of kids that had the stomach flu also. In our house when you are sick with the stomach flu we have a bowl that sits next to you just in case you can't make it to the bathroom in time (if you know what I mean). Anyway, the bowl made its rounds sitting next to different people depending on how they were feeling. Beck was one of the lucky ones that only got the cough and runny nose but he wanted his turn with the bowl sitting next to him. So we played along a little bit.

Here is our "sick bowl"


One day after Beck was feeling better he asked me where the cough bowl was. I asked him what he was talking about and he said he needed to cough and he needed the cough bowl. He finally found it and came to me to show me what he was talking about. Apparently since Beck only coughed in the bowl he thinks that is what it is used for. Coughs. So now every time he needs to cough he goes and gets our "cough bowl". Too funny little Beck. It makes me laugh every time when he needs to cough. Eventually I will need to set him straight but now it is so cute all I can do is smile.
