So I have noticed that quite a few of you just have your comments post to your blog without needing to be reviewed. My question is: How do you know when there is a new comment on your blog? Do you just have to look and see or is there something on your dashboard that tells you or is there an email sent or what happens? Anyone who does this, let me know. I have been thinking about changing mine but I want to know when people leave comments on my blog and what they say. I don't want to miss anything. What if they comment on an older blog posting? Anyway, let me know.

If you change it to where you review the comments before they get posted on your blog then whenever you sign into your blog, on the dashboard will tell you if you have new comments, no matter if they commented on an old post or not.
I just have my comments emailed to me, and they email comments in the order received, so I even get the comments that people make on old posts. That way I don't have to do the comment moderation thing. :)
If you don't want to do comment moderation you can go to your settings and go to COmments and at the very bottom of the page it has a place where you can enter your email and it will send you an email every time someone comments on your blog. good luck!
